i am a fairly new pool possessor. We recently got a new Pentair Variable Speed pump. The puddle company set information technology up to shut off everyday at 7;59AM and come back on at viii:00AM. When it does this the table salt cell sees No Catamenia and shuts itself off. Everyday nosotros demand to become down and turn information technology dorsum on.
'My question is , tin I become the pump to run non stop?
cheers in advance.

Welcome to the forum!
Yous can run the pump continuously. Wait at your operating transmission. You do demand the system gear up up as they have information technology.
Note: The pump volition not run the scheduled speeds until the Start/Stop button is pressed (LED on) to place the pump in
Schedule mode.
More than apropos - it does not sound similar you accept a timer on the SWCG. The flow switch on all SWCG's is secondary safety device, you must have a timer (if no automation) as a chief rubber device. There is the potential of an exploding SWCG if it is powered on with no flow.
Take care.

We have a Zodiac LM2 Salt machine and recently a new Pentair Intelliflo Variable speed pump. The pump shuts down everyday for a infinitesimal. When information technology does this the salt machine shuts down and volition non come back on when pump restarts. We accept to turn it dorsum on manually.
i am hoping that someone might have some idea of what we may do.
Thank you very much.

One thousand,
Assuming that you want the pump to run 24/7, why have you lot programmed it to shut off at all???
I just saw your other post almost the pump not running 24/seven... I am not certain why, as information technology appears to exist programmed correctly, only yous can also endeavor to reprogram every bit follows...
Speed one... 1500 rpm (or whatever you want) schedule from 8 am until 8 pm.
Speed two... 1501 rpm (or whatever you want) schedule from 8 pm until 8 am.
I doubt in that location is annihilation you tin can practise to brand the SWCG restart automatically...
Cheers,
Jim R.

Programming Schedule for Abiding Run
A
and finish times. To run a speed without stopping, gear up
the Start time 1 minute after the end time.
Example: A single speed volition run not stop if programmed
with a Start Time of 8:00 AM and a Stop time of seven:59 AM.
But, as Jim has pointed out above, when connected to an EasyTouch you can set it 8 am until 8 am and information technology will run 24/7.. Information technology can't hurt to try it..

so that begs the question why would it exist diff with automation vs no automation?
is the timer within the pump? Or is ane using an external timer?

I reread your signature and it says you have the IntelliFlo pump and a "Pentair comptroller".
When y'all say Pentair comptroller are you talking about an automation system such every bit the EasyTouch or IntelliTouch??? If then, than as Jim points out, it should exist every bit simple as setting information technology to run eight am until eight am, assuming yous desire to run 24/vii...
Let us know if you are scheduling on the pump itself, or on an automation system of some kind...
Thanks,

I had the same problem, and presented information technology on this forum. When my intelliflow pump concluded for the day, the SWCG went nuts. It even so had the green ON button lit up, information technology still had the light-green GENERATING button lit up, the CHECK Common salt button illuminated, and the CHECK Jail cell light illuminated. I had to go out there every morning and turn information technology off and and then dorsum on before it would start to work. I finally figured out the trouble: The Aquarite box was wired into an "old fashioned" timer controller...y'all know, the yellow wheel on the left powered the puddle filter on and off at whatever fourth dimension y'all cull, and the commencement/finish times depended on where you lot screwed in the metallic clip on the bicycle. The yellow wheel on the right controlled the pool sweep. When this box was installed, I suspect that the intelliflow pump hadn't been invented yet. It had an quondam pool pump that was controlled by that xanthous wheel. When the intelliflow upgrade pump was installed, whoever put it in left the "ON" prune in identify, but REMOVED the "OFF" prune on the yellowish bicycle so that the intelliflow would always have power. Obviously, the Intelliflow doesn't need to be told when to starting time and stop by the wheel, start and stop run times are programed directly into the pump.
So...at the end of a decorated puddle pump twenty-four hours, around 7:00 PM at my house, the Intelliflow shuts off. Simply THE WHEEL DIDN'T Accept THE Terminate Prune INSTALLED SO POWER FROM THE BOX TO THE SWCG WAS NEVER INTERRUPTED. And so, the SWCG is trying to generate chlorine, but no water is flowing through the cell and information technology can't detect whatsoever common salt, so it doesn't know what to exercise. So the CHECK SALT and the INSPECT CELL idiot lights illuminate while it is still trying to generate chlorine.
I put the OFF clip dorsum on the bicycle and set it to shut off at the aforementioned fourth dimension the Intelliflow is scheduled to shut down, and when the wheel hits the OFF clip, ability to the SWCG is interrupted and the SWCG powers down until the next morning, when the wheel reaches the "ON" clip and ability to the SWCG is restored.
Problem solved. I'll bet a lot of folks out there have experienced this when they upgraded their pool pump to a programmable unit like the Intelliflow.

Aye it is an automation organization. I am very new to this. Before the pool had a Jandy(?) pump that ran 24/7. When they put in the new pump, they suggested the automation system. Information technology does heater, pump and my One Shot.
I will try to re-programme the automated system.
'Thank you and then much

PS. I accept had more answers here than when I call puddle company.
M,I reread your signature and it says you accept the IntelliFlo pump and a "Pentair comptroller".
When you say Pentair comptroller are you lot talking virtually an automation organisation such as the EasyTouch or IntelliTouch??? If so, than as Jim points out, it should be as uncomplicated as setting it to run 8 am until viii am, assuming yous want to run 24/seven...
Permit usa know if y'all are scheduling on the pump itself, or on an automation system of some kind...
